The Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency (OYCSDA) has commenced the distribution of support materials in the form of foodstuffs and cash donations to 250 vulnerable residents, under its Psychosocial Intervention Programme. The Oyo State House of Assembly,yesterday,  passed the 2024 Appropriation Bill of N438,447,878,548.39 into law. This is higher than the initial N434,221,765,938.79 presented to the House of Assembly by Governor Seyi Makinde. The Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service {NCS}, Bashir Adeniyi, on Monday, said the Service will soon deliver 5,000 units of houses across the country to address the struggle to secure houses of his officers and men. Adeniyi lamented that the struggle for houses by customs officers was hindering their ability to fully focus on their duties.
