The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has been suspended by members of his ward, the Ganduje Ward in the Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State.  The Executive Council of Ganduje Ward led by Haruna Gwanjo disclosed this during a press briefing in Kano on Monday. The Oyo State Police Command on Monday paraded no fewer than 21 suspected Yoruba Nation agitators at its headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan. These individuals were nabbed for their involvement in the forceful invasion of the Oyo State Government Secretariat on Saturday. The suspected agitators were arrested by joint security operatives at the state government Secretariat while attempting to take over the State House of Assembly after hoisting Yoruba Nation flags. The Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE), on Monday, urged the Federal Government to treat those who invaded  the Oyo State Secretariat complex over the weekend as coup plotters. It would be recalled that some agitators invaded the secretariat and hoisted the Yoruba  Democratic  Republic  on the Oyo State House of Assembly complex.
