The University of Ibadan, Ibadan,  on Saturday, explained why it has not issued certificates to its  2022 graduates of the  Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry (MB:BS) programme. In a statement signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council of the university,  Ganiyu Saliu, the management said it never refused to issue the said certificates to the graduates. Saliu explained that there were technical issues which were responsible for the delay. The Registrar said the certificate is now ready for collection. Yoruba Council of Elders [YCE] and an elder statesman, Dr. Kunle Olajide, on Thursday, mourned the passage of the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu, who passed away yesterday,  in Abuja at the age of 82.
