The University of Medical Sciences, Ondo Chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU-UNIMEDO], on Wednesday, chided  an infinitesimal group of protesters who leveled some unfounded allegations against the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Adesegun Fatusi.
Recall that a group had on Tuesday staged a protest against the VC in Akure.
 Reacting to the protest and the allegations, the  Chairperson of ASUU-UNIMEDO, Comrade Abraham O. Oladebeye, said the protesters were unknown and uninformed.
Oladebeye said from findings, the leader of the protest is not a member of the Congregation of the ivory tower as claimed, and his cohorts are a bunch of ignoramus, adjudged to be shortsighted, gullible and void of native intelligence.
The union leader described the protesters as uninformed, misinformed, unidentified and unscrupulous persons.
The reaction was contained in a piece signed by Oladebeye and sighted by Optimal Times News.
The write-up  reads: ‘’I write on behalf of ASUU-UNIMEDO BEC to inform you that the protest was staged by some uninformed, misinformed, unidentified and unscrupulous persons against the Vice Chancellor, Prof. A.O. Fatusi yesterday is totally condemned by our Union.
‘’From our findings, the leader of the protest is not a member of the Congregation of our ivory tower as claimed, and his cohorts are a bunch of ignoramus, adjudged to be shortsighted, gullible and void of native intelligence.
 ‘’The University Administration has, however, given good responses to the fallacies of the protesters through the office of the University PRO. You are hereby enjoined to be calm and go about your normal duties’’.
