…Lauds Makinde’s outstanding leadership

A popular public affairs analyst on Fresh FM and Public Relations aficionado, Hon. Rotimi Johnson Ojasope, on Thursday, commiserated with victims of the Bodija blast in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
In a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan, Ojasope lamented the unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday.
He extended his sincere gratitude to the first responders, military and paramilitary agencies, medical staff, and paramedics for their relentless efforts, day and night, since the occurrence of the sad event.
Ojasope said:“We are extremely saddened by the horrible explosion that occurred in our beloved city. We sincerely sympathize with the victims and their families during this trying time, and our hearts go out to everyone impacted by this horrific occurrence”.
He also lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for his outstanding leadership throughout this trying period.
“The people of Ibadan have found consolation and assurance in his prompt action and lucid communication. We are grateful for the Governor’s swift action and the two news conferences he called within a day, showing that he is committed to maintaining openness and cooperation in the government’s response to this situation”.
Ojasope however urged people to live in unity in this time of loss and uncertainty, aiding and motivating pertinent agents. He assured them that they will survive this tragedy and come out stronger than ever because of the collective strength and resiliency of the people of Ibadan and Oyo State.
