Comrade Olawale  Ogunbusola, the Governor’s Office correspondent of Prince 89.7FM, Ibadan, has become a Fellow of Eccolerite Institute For Peace Advancement with the membership no: EIPA/G/0170.
Ogunbusola received the award on Saturday at the fifth Investiture of the fellowship award, which was held at the Balogun Subomi Hall, University Of Ibadan, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The programme drew scholars, ambassadors and broadcast journalists from far and wide.
In his welcome address, Prowess University’s African Representative, Prof. Eze Nwauba,who was represented by a senior scholar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, (FUNAAB), Dr. Olaolusegun Ayodele, noted that it was necessary for the country to appreciate citizens who have made positive impacts.
Also speaking, Prof. Olubodun Olayiwola from Togo stressed the need for the country to shift attention from certification to skills and capacity.
While inducting the fellows, the President, Eccolerite Institute for Peace Advancement, Dr. Akande Kazeem Babatunde charged them to use their capacities to strengthen the peace of the nation.
Speaking with journalists, Ogunbusola, an author of many literary works, including ‘Too Late To Regret’ (is on Oyo State Literature lists from 2023 to 2026), educationist and convener of a yearly school competition, pledged to use his new academic feat for the development of the country.
Other broadcast journalists, who were his co-recipients, were Oyetayo Oladimeji of FreshFM, Ambassador Afolabi Olayemi Olaniyi of Jamz FM and Ishola Abass of Solutions FM.
