…Prays for wisdom, sound health for duo

A former Minister of Communications, Barr. (Dr.) Abdur-Raheem Adebayo Shittu, on Friday, congratulated President Bola Tinubu and Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, over their victory at the Supreme Court.
It would be recalled that the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and that of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi had dragged Tinubu and Shettima of All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to challenge their victory.
Tinubu and Shettima won at the trial Court on September 6, 2023.
Unsatisfied with the outcome of the tribunal, Atiku and Obi dragged Tinubu ti the Supreme Court.
On Thursday, the Supreme Court gave its judgment, affirming the victory of Tinubu and Shettima.
Reacting to the verdict in a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan, Barrister Shittu said all progressives in the country are proud of Tinubu and Shettima.
The legal luminary, who is the Director-General of Asiwaju Tinubu-‐ Shettima Campaign For Good Governance, said
members of 1,141 support groups within the group, said the victory was resounding and historic.
The APC chieftain said: “I, Barr. (Dr.) Abdur-Raheem Adebayo Shittu, as the Director-General and on behalf of all members of the 1,141 support groups within the Asiwaju Tinubu-‐ Shettima Campaign For Good Governance hereby congratulate our Leader and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, on their resounding victory and triumph at the Supreme Court on Thursday”.
The former mimister prayer for good health and Solomonic wisdom for the president to pilot the affairs of the country to an enviable height.

We pray almighty Allah continues to endow you with longevity, sustainable good health and Solomonic Wisdom as you squarely confront the gargantuan challenges of recreating our nation into a better, more equitable and more beneficial country for all and sundry”, Shittu added.
