A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party {PDP} in Oyo State, Â Chief Dare Adeleke, and a former Chief of Staff to the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Prof. Gbade Ojo, on Thursday, congratulated President Bola Tinubu over his victory at the Supreme Court.
The two political leaders, who spoke with journalists in Ibadan, said with the judgment, Nigerians should come together and bring back the economy.
Adeleke urged Nigerians to shun ethnic coloration which played out during the 2023 general election.
The PDP chieftain equally lauded the PDP presidential candidate in the last election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party counterpart, Mr Peter Obi for a good fight at judiciary than resulting to violence.
On his part, Prof. Ojo said the judgment did not come as a surprise to many Nigerians as the supreme Court has never upturn the presidential poll in the history of Nigeria as a nation.
The former Head of Department, Political Science, University of Ilorin, maintained that the judgment would allow President Tinubu to focus on how to develop the country instead of distractions occasioned by the legal tussle.
